Job summary

Temple Health MRI Technologist is sought for a part-time position at the JEANES Hospital campus. The role involves performing MRI studies, preparing the scan room, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

ARRT MR certification must be completed within 2 years of hire. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of radiology technologist experience, with CT or MRI experience preferred, and hold ARRT MR and R registrations plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification within 2 years from date of hire required.
• 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist required.
• 1 year experience in CT or MRI preferred.
• Reg Technologist (R) required.
• Reg Technologist (MR) required.
• Basic Life Support required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI studies following established protocol by Radiologists.
• Operates MRI scanner to produce images of consistent, high quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment; positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
