Job summary

Temple Health is a dynamic network of hospitals and centers in Philadelphia seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform MRI studies and ensure high-quality imaging. The role requires preparing the scan room, positioning patients and coils, and maintaining patient communication throughout the procedure.

ARRT MR certification must be obtained within 2 years from date of hire, and Basic Life Support is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required.
• ARRT MR certification required within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Job Responsibilities

Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure. American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Non Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required

Experience

• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
• 1 year experience in CT or MRI Preferred

Licenses

• Reg Technologist (R) Required
• Reg Technologist (MR) Required
• Basic Life Support Required
