Job summary

Soliant in Morristown, NJ, seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for a part-time role in an outpatient oncology setting. The schedule spans Wednesday to Friday 3:00pm–11:00pm, plus Saturday 7:00am–11:00pm, totaling 39 hours per week.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, coil selection, safety monitoring, data entry, and image capture. Requires NJ RT license and MR certification, plus BLS and 1–3 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ MRI technologist experience and radiology program graduate.
• Current NJ RT license and MR certification required.
• Active BLS certification and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select coils per radiologist protocols.
• Communicate with patients during scans using microphones.
• Enter patient data, scan details, and history into imaging systems.
• Input scan sequences and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during scans.
• Assess image quality and capture scans with software.
• Educate staff on MRI safety and metal handling.
• Perform additional MRI duties as directed.
