Job summary

Soliant is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract in New York. The role features a steady weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM) and responsibilities including performing high-quality MRI scans, preparing patients, and collaborating with radiologists.

Qualifications include ARRT (R) and (MR) certifications, NY license, and BLS. Experience with Philips MRI is highly preferred. Competitive weekly pay and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (R) and (MR) certifications.
• Valid New York State License.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous Philips MRI experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.
• Operate Philips MRI systems with proficiency, optimizing images for diagnostic accuracy.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control standards throughout every procedure.
• Accurately document and maintain patient records and imaging results.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, top-level care.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate as appropriate.
