Responsibilities

• Position patient on examining table and coils according to radiologist protocols.
• Demonstrate and utilize microphone communication system during examinations.
• Enter patient history, anatomical area, and positioning data into the system.
• Specify scan sequences, and adjust transmitters and receivers to optimize imaging.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort via control room and CCTV feeds.
• View and assess scan images for quality assurance.
• Record imaging data and alert staff to safety hazards related to metal around the magnet.
