Job summary

UR Medicine Thompson Health is seeking an MRI technologist to provide high-quality imaging with minimal supervision in a per diem, varied-hours schedule on site. The role requires ARRT (AART) certification, MRI independence, and on-call duties.

The candidate should have an A.A.S. degree (B.S. preferred) and be prepared to maintain patient confidentiality and collaborate with MRI/DI staff to support Thompson Health's CARES values and high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. degree is required.
• Current, valid ARRT (AART) certification required.
• Ability to perform MRI independently.
• On-Call responsibilities required.
• Basic CPR training required or to be completed within three months of hire.
• MRI Registry required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality MRI results with minimal supervision.
• Coordinates MRI services within and outside Thompson Health to meet needs of customers.
• Supports the mission and goals of UR Medicine Thompson Health.
