Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT(R) cross-training in MRI, as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARR T or MRI competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Identifies patients, verifies orders, and prepares patients for exam.
• Performs MRI exams per protocol and reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Follows MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising care.
• Assists and instructs students and MRI staff in protocols and equipment.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
• Maintains infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
