Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist before exams and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify and prep patients, provide explanations for procedures.
• Review patient medical history and EMR for pertinent information.
• Perform MRI scanning and assist during invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintain MRI safety and sterile technique; document contrast administration.
