Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to operate MRI equipment safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders, refers to Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identifies patients and explains procedures; prepares and documents.
• Interviews patients to obtain medical history from EMR records.
• Performs MRI exams and ensures high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast per protocol; records details.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and MAR documentation.
• Assists in emergencies and with invasive procedures as needed.
