Job description

DEFINITION:

Under the supervision of the CT/MRI Supervisor, the technician conducts and assists personnel in performing CT/MRI examinations. They are able to provide patient care activities for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The technician is responsible for the proper utilization of the Radiology Information System, as outlined in the RIS policy and procedures.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):

The candidate must meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified in MRI. Up to one year of experience in MRI is desirable.
