Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team in Illinois. This full-time role involves operating a state-of-the-art mobile MRI scanner and delivering high-quality imaging for local communities, with a stable, employee-owned company culture.

You will work Monday–Friday with every other Saturday, perform scans, administer contrast under Radiologist supervision, ensure patient safety and confidentiality, and participate in ongoing education to maintain credentialed

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registration is required or preferred for MR imaging.
• Demonstrated ability to produce quality MRI images with limited supervision.
• Professional and ethical interaction with patients and staff.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures according to standards of practice.
• Review patient screening forms and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient care, safety, confidentiality and ongoing education.
