Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks an MRI Technologist to operate a state-of-the-art mobile scanner and provide imaging services to local communities. This full-time position offers stability, an employee-centric culture, and long-term career growth within SMS ONETEAM.

The role emphasizes patient care, professional conduct, and collaboration with Radiologists, with a schedule Monday–Friday and alternating Saturdays. SMS supports ongoing education and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) or ARMRIT registration is required.
• ARRT(MR) registration is preferred.
• Ability to produce high-quality imaging with limited supervision and act professionally.
• Pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted practice standards, including administering contrast under site Radiologist guidance.
• Review and complete patient screening forms and clearly explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality; sustain technical competency via continuing education.
