Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team for part-time roles. The position involves working with a state-of-the-art mobile MRI scanner, serving local communities, and providing high-quality imaging in diverse environments.

You will review patient screenings, explain procedures, and maintain patient care, safety, and confidentiality while keeping your technical skills current through ongoing education. This is an employee-owned, stable employer with guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered.
• ARRT (MR) registered preferred.
• Ability to perform MRI imaging with limited supervision and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per standards, including contrast administration under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient care, safety, confidentiality and ongoing professional competency.
