Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, UT is seeking an MRI Lead to oversee MRI services, assist the Director in planning and directing activities, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate across departments and support PI initiatives to improve performance and patient outcomes.

The role requires ARRT-R radiography credentials, RT designation, an associate degree, and BLS within 7 days of starting. This is a leadership position within Radiology.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care of patient from admission to discharge in non-operating room areas
• Establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with nursing staff, medical staff and other departments
• Consider ages of patients when fulfilling patient care responsibilities
• Demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs: possesses knowledge of growth and development: and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups
• Work with the Director as Performance Improvement Coordinator, oversees and compiles results of performance improvement studies
• Work with Administrative and Medical Director to identify and organize various PI studies

In a MRI Lead position, you will be accountable for assisting the Director in planning and directing of all MRI services or other activities as assigned to them.
