Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Imaging Coordinator to lead technologists and students while ensuring high-quality patient care. The role involves supervising CT/Ultrasound and Radiology teams, coordinating scheduling, and driving staff development.

You will work closely with department coordinators, participate in hiring and coaching, and maintain professional relationships across medical staff to promote growth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential expected.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology required.
• Registered ARRT credential required.
• CAHEA approved school graduation preferred.
• Licensure in radiology current in the working state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technologists and students and schedule staff.
• Perform wide range of radiologic procedures.
• Supervise CT/Ultrasound and Radiology staffing.
• Educate care team and hold monthly staff meetings.
• Assist in hiring, coaching and discipline as needed.
• Collaborate with CT/Ultrasound and Radiography coordinators.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Imaging Coordinator, you will be joining a team of employees who are compassionate, kind and deliver high quality, patient centered care. We work hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do.

In this role:

• You will assist with day to day patient care and work flow by overseeing technologists and students, and scheduling staff accordingly.

• You will provide perform all the functions of a staff radiologic technologist and performs a wide range of procedures.

• You will establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with coworkers and all medical staff.

• You will demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information that promotes development and growth within the department.

• You will provide Supervision over CT / Ultrasound and Radiology staffing.

• You will be responsible for engaging and educating care team by holding monthly staff meeting as well as assisting in hiring, coaching and discipline.

• You will work closely with the Coordinators in all areas for input in CT / Ultrasound and Radiography.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

• Associate Degree

• Prefer specific experience and training in each specialty certified in.

• Graduation from a CAHEA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. (ARRT)

• Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

• Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.

• Proficiency with most major equipment manufacturer's hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Picker) for each specialty.

• Current Radiology license through the State of which you will be working.

• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
