Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed imaging procedures with independence and professional judgment. You will ensure image quality, explain procedures to patients, and maintain safety standards.

Required credentials include an Associate's degree and ARRT Radiography (R) or MR certification; CPR and background clearances may apply. Prior radiology experience is preferred; sign-on bonus is eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate's Degree; or equivalent from a two year college or a technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
• ARRT in Radiography (R), or ARMRIT or CAMRT MR certification required
• Preferred prior radiology experience

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures independently.
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with image quality.
• Administers contrast media and/or medications when ordered.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Operates equipment safely and performs QC procedures.
