Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures with independence. You will position patients, select exposure factors, and report results while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requires at least an associate degree and ARRT Radiography (R) or ARMRIT/CAMRT MRI certification within 18 months, plus CPR and background checks. A $15,000 sign-on bonus applies with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate degree or equivalent education/experience.
• ARRT Radiography (R) or ARMRIT or CAMRT MR certification required.
• CPR certification and clear background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging procedures independently.
• Analyze results and identify image quality issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment and adjust exposure factors as needed.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.
• Educate patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
• Administer contrast media when ordered and monitor patient status.
