Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures with independence and initiative. The role involves patient positioning, analyzing results, and ensuring high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, educating patients, administering contrast within scope, and maintaining safety and equipment quality. Requires ARRT MR or Radiography certification and related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent education required.
• ARRT in Radiography (R) or MR certification (ARMRIT/CAMRT) required.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging procedures independently, analyze results and resolve image quality issues.
• Review patient history and orders; educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope; monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; select exposure factors and imaging parameters; perform QC.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
