Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a radiologic imaging professional to perform prescribed procedures with independence and clinical judgment. The role includes preparing equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging results.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree and ARRT MR/R certification with ongoing maintenance for MRI roles. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is available with a 3-year commitment, and compliance with HIPAA and safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or MR technologist certification (MR)
• MRI experience preferred if applicable
• MRI certification must be maintained if already obtained

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging procedures independently.
• Analyze results and address image quality issues.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.
• Educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media when ordered within scope of practice.
