Job summary

Intermountain Health in Montana seeks an MRI Technologist to support our clinical team, performing imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety. As part of the Radiology team, you will access and update patient records, input physician orders, and follow ARRT standards of ethics while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role requires an ARRT certification with Montana licensure, an Associate degree or diploma, BLS, and willingness to float to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility.
• BLS certification and willingness to obtain additional modality within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Access, manage and update patient records in EMR systems.
• Input physician orders accurately to patient records.
• Explain imaging procedures and safety to patients before procedures.
• Position patients and operate MRI equipment per protocols.
• Monitor patients and follow radiation and safety guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance and continue education.
