Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment under radiologist direction, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety.

Responsibilities include patient education about radiation and safety, maintaining records, and adhering to ARRT standards. The role may require call shifts and cross-department support within the hospital, located in Montana.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training.
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific literature.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images.
• Educate and explain imaging procedures to patients prior to procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Order supplies and manage procedure charges within budget.
