Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Current ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility; BLS; additional modality cert within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality images under radiologist direction.
• Access and update patient records accurately in hospital EMR systems.
• Educate patients on imaging procedures and radiation safety to reduce anxiety.
• Position patients, use immobilization devices, and obtain optimal views as directed.
• Administer contrast media per Radiologist/Pharmacy guidelines.
• Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and ongoing quality assurance.
