Job summary

MedStar Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Owings Mills, MD is seeking an MRI Technologist II for a full-time day shift (Mon–Fri, 6:30a–4p) with a rotating day off. You will deliver high-quality MRI imaging and patient care in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Radiologic Technology certificate required.
• 3–4 years MRI experience required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification required upon hire.
• Knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures.
• Select appropriate technical factors based on patient needs and provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor for reactions per policy.
• Prepare exam room, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging quality.
• Document exams in PACS and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation.
