Job summary

MedStar Health's MRI Technologist II at Good Samaritan Hospital is a full-time day shift role (M-F 6:30a–4p) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. You will perform routine and specialized MRI procedures under supervision, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The position emphasizes teamwork, clinical competency across locations, adherence to MRI safety protocols, patient communication, and participation in QA and efficiency initiatives. ARMRIT/ARRT certification and BLS are required on hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or equivalent.
• Certificate in Radiologic Technology or MRI from an approved program.
• Three to four years MRI experience preferred.
• ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification required on hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures.
• Demonstrate competency across locations and patient populations.
• Maintain MRI safety protocols and equipment QA.
• Assist with patient education and comfort; document exams and prepare PACS uploads.
