Job summary

MedStar Health in Catonsville is seeking an MRI Technologist II at Good Samaritan Hospital for a full-time day shift (M-F, 6:30a–4p) with a rotating day off. Join a team committed to safe, high-quality imaging and patient-centered care.

The role requires 3–4 years MRI experience, ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certification on hire, and an Associate’s degree or MRI/ Radiologic Technology certificate. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. BLS certification on hire is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or MRI.
• 3–4 years MRI experience.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification on hire.
• BLS certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform routine and specialized MRI imaging.
• Maintain MRI safety and Zone 4 access control.
• Assist in QA activities and equipment maintenance.
• Educate patients and communicate procedures clearly.
• Document patient care activities in the EHR and ensure images are PACS-ready.
