Job summary

Arkansas Children’s Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a day shift. The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, ARRT MRI Specialist or ARMRIT certification, and 2 years direct pediatric MRI experience preferred. A 10K sign-on bonus and loan repayment program are offered.

The incumbent will perform diagnostic MRI exams, follow proper protocols, screen patients for contraindications, ensure safety, and maintain equipment and work areas in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of scan protocols to optimize image quality and reduce scan time.
• Adherence to safety guidelines for MRI environments.
• Ability to screen patients and families for contraindications and safety ризks.
• Understanding of regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI scans as directed by Radiologists.
• Utilize correct scan protocols to optimize image quality and minimize repeat scans.
• Screen patients and families for pregnancy and MRI contraindications.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a safe work area.
• Troubleshoot and report malfunctions of MRI equipment.
• Comply with all regulatory laws and internal protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
