Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Glenbrook Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist II to perform MRI exams, prepare patients, and ensure image quality. This full-time role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus, Monday–Friday hours 11am–7pm with rotating weekends, and required travel.

Candidates must have an associate degree in Radiology, CPR, and ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, plus prior MRI experience. IEMA license is not required.

Qualifications

• Certification CPR required and ARRT MR or ARMRIT.
• Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
• IEMA license not required.
• Previous MRI Technologist experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
• Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality.
• Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range

$35.35 - $54.79. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will need
