Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program (Associates or Bachelors degree required).
• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) or Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
• MRI Registry required within 12 months of hire; state licensure as required.

Responsabilités

• Screen patients for MRI safety risks and contraindications.
• Explain imaging procedures and support patient comfort during scans.
• Position patients and operate MRI equipment per established protocols.
• Administer contrast when appropriate and monitor for reactions.
• Review images for technical quality before radiologist submission.
• Maintain MR safety standards and infection control compliance.
