Qualifications

• Certification in ARMRIT, ARRT-MR, or NMTCB-MR required at hire.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology Specialty Training; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Clinical MRI experience and safety/quality assurance valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with correct patient identification and prep.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize factors, and apply ALARA for safety and image quality.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for positioning and quality; verify data transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist MRI procedures.
• Apply MRI safety principles to minimize risks.
• Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Participate in quality improvement and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex tasks.
