Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures and support diagnostic research. Responsibilities include patient preparation, imaging protocol application, ALARA safety adherence, and post-processing assistance.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT certification upon hire, with new grads expected to obtain certification prior to employment, and potential for advanced certifications within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Experience in radiologic technology; advanced certifications expected within 24 months for hired applicants after a specified date.
• Graduate of specialty training in radiologic technology; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct order, identify and prepare patients, document clinical history, and maintain confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to safety principles like ALARA.
• Prepare/administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage/transfer, and assist with post-processing.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with MRI interventional procedures.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols; ensure MRI safety and participate in safety assessments.
