Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and assist with diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. You will adhere to ALARA principles, prepare patients, review protocols, and contribute to data integrity and quality standards.

Qualified candidates will have radiologic technology training and ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB certification; bachelor’s degree is preferred to support advanced imaging and education activities.

Qualifications

• Certification from recognized radiology or MRI technologist boards (ARRT, ARMRIT, NMTCB).
• Graduate of a radiologic technology training program.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for safety.
• Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist with interventional procedures, select pulse sequences, and perform prescribed MRI scans.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
