Job summary

Your responsibilities include assisting with MRI procedures, selecting appropriate pulse sequences, and ensuring high-quality data acquisition for accurate diagnoses. Training and teaching others are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR is required.
• Graduate from a radiologic technology training program; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Skills include technical proficiency, patient care, safety awareness, and the ability to educate others.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, document activities, and evaluate image quality for accuracy.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist licensed practitioners with MRI procedures and interventional techniques, select pulse sequences, and ensure proper data acquisition.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
