Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce diagnostic images under physician direction. You will prepare patients, position them, and manage IV contrast while collaborating with radiologists to ensure exam quality and safety.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, MR certification preferred, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a recognized radiologic or technical program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; MR certification preferred.
• Within less than 1 year: thorough knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, anatomy, and procedures.
• Strong communication, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and adjust MRI equipment; position and instruct patients; administer IV contrast.
• Perform MRI procedures accurately; coordinate schedules; ensure exam completion.
• Assist with staff and student training, orientation, and MRI class preparation.
• Maintain and document records for patient, equipment, and departmental data; ensure compliance with accreditation and safety standards.
• Consult with radiologists on exam details; monitor patient during contrast injections.
• Research lab data; ensure proper IV access and safety protocols.
