Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI scans, prepare patients, and assist clinicians in a clinical setting with a patient-centered approach.

The role emphasizes safety, ALARA principles, accurate data handling, and collaboration with staff. ARRT MR certification (or equivalent) and radiologic technology training are required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or equivalent certification obtained on hire.
• Graduation from a radiologic technology program; bachelor’s preferred.
• Solid knowledge of MRI safety and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders, verify patient identity, and prepare patients for exams.
• Apply imaging protocols and ALARA principles to ensure safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality and assist in post-processing and data transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and staff for safety and compliance.
• Assist licensed practitioners during interventional procedures and scans.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and data factors.
• Participate in quality improvement and maintain routine proficiency.
