Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform diagnostic MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging in a clinical setting. You will independently operate MRI equipment, prepare patients, and acquire data for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

You will evaluate images, verify quality, assist with MRI interventional procedures, apply ALARA principles, and collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and staff to optimize patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• MRI protocol expertise required.
• Strong safety awareness with ALARA principles.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and radiology staff.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols and optimize factors to maximize image quality and safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and ensure data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; apply safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist with MRI procedures and select pulse sequences; participate in quality improvement activities.
