OSF HealthCare is seeking an MRI Technologist I for a PRN hourly role. The technologist will operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation, navigate EMR/PACS, and provide patient care with proper imaging protocols.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. The role requires radiography education, ARRT/ARMRIT or equivalent registration within a year, and strong interpersonal, computer, and analytical skills.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/ GED Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
• BLS American Heart Association certification.
• ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or ARMRIT, or must obtain within one year of hire if not currently registered.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
• 2 years’ radiography experience.
• 1 year MRI experience.
• ARRT (R) registered

Expected pay for this position is $41.13 - $53.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The MRI Technologist I cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High School Diploma/ GED Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.

Licensure/ Certification:

• BLS American Heart Association;
• ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or must obtain within one year of hire if not currently registered.

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

• 2 years’ radiography experience.
• 1 year MRI experience.

Licensure/ Certification:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) registered
