Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform routine MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality images. The role includes operating MRI equipment, managing supplies, and documenting findings for radiologist review.

You will educate patients, address questions, and maintain strict safety standards in a fast-paced clinical setting. PRN scheduling supports flexible coverage and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program required.
• 0-2 years of clinical MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI procedures following physician orders and protocols.
• Assess patient histories to identify contraindications and safety concerns.
• Operate MRI equipment and processing software accurately.
• Educate patients and address questions to ensure comfort.
• Maintain MRI safety zones and verify patient/staff readiness.
• Document history with exam findings for radiologist review.
• Monitor equipment and manage MRI supplies and sterilization.
