Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images with a patient-centered approach. This casual/PRN role offers flexibility and requires a strong commitment to safety and quality care.

You will screen, explain, position, and perform MRI procedures while adhering to physician orders and RIS documentation. A licensed radiologic technologist with CPR and ARRT/ARMRIT credentials is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam and ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures and position for scanning.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed and follow safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS and keep work area clean.
