Job summary

Advocate Health Cabarrus MRI department is seeking a full-time MRI technologist to verify orders, prepare patients, perform scans and assist Radiologists, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications include ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT program, and MRI registry within 1 year; BLS required. Work schedule is 36 hours per week (Mon, Tue, Thu 1800–0630). Compensation ranges from $35.50 to $53.25 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and contact Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; maintain safety standards.
• Perform MRI scanning and assist physicians during procedures.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and document procedures in MAR.
• Maintain equipment and clean work areas to ensure safety.
