Job summary

MaineHealth’s Maine Medical Center in Portland seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform basic MRI exams and procedures. The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT MR eligibility, with rapid certification within a year. BLS must be obtained within 30 days.

Summary

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required, graduate of an MRI program preferred, or completion of a direct pathway program.
• License/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT--MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) MRI certification- eligible. Must complete advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT within one year of hire. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: No experience required; one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Complete cervical stabilization training.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
