Job summary

MaineHealth in Biddeford, ME seeks a Per Diem MRI Technologist to perform basic MRI exams and support imaging services for the community. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and collaboration with the imaging team.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with MRI training preferred and ARRT MR/ARMRIT eligibility. A current BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology is required.
• MRI program completion or direct pathway program preferred.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT MRI certification- eligible; must complete advanced MRI certification within one year.
• Current BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic MRI exams and procedures.
• Support imaging needs and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain equipment and assist the team as needed.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Graduate of an MRI program preferred, or completion of a direct pathway program.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT--MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) MRI certification- eligible. Must complete advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT within one year of hire. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: No experience required; one year of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.
