Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to perform basic MRI exams and provide procedural support to meet the imaging needs of our community.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with current state licensure and eligibility for ARRT MR or ARMRIT MRI certification, plus BLS. No experience is required, though one year of relevant work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• MRI program required or direct pathway training preferred.
• Current state Radiologic Technology license required; ARRT MR or ARMRIT MRI certification eligible with 1 year to complete.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days.
• No experience required; 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Graduate of an MRI program preferred, or completion of a direct pathway program.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT--MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) MRI certification- eligible. Must complete advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT within one year of hire. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: No experience required; one year of relevant experience preferred.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
