Qualifications

Expected pay for this position is $41.13 - $53.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

This is a PRN position.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Responsibilities include EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocols/techniques for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements to ensure safe and appropriate care.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program
• Must be ARRT eligible

Licensure/Certification

• BLS from American Heart Association
• ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or ARMRIT certification within one year of hire if not currently registered

Other Skills/Knowledge

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years radiography experience
• 1 year MRI experience
• ARRT (R) registered
