We are in search of a visionary Creative Technologist AI to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role fuses artistic imagination with the latest AI advancements, crafting distinctive visual content and revolutionising creative workflows. As part of our global AI transformation team, you'll play a pivotal role in fast-tracking AI production processes for our talented creators worldwide, with a special emphasis on Monks America's Studios. A Creative Technologist bridges the gap between creativity and technology in advertising production. They collaborate with creative teams, developers, and clients to conceptualize and implement innovative, tech-driven solutions for campaigns.

Responsibilities / Priorities

Responsibilities include prototyping interactive experiences, integrating emerging technologies (AR/VR, AI, etc.), optimizing digital assets, and ensuring technical feasibility. They stay updated on tech trends, troubleshoot production challenges, and deliver engaging, cutting-edge content that enhances brand storytelling. Strong coding, UX/UI, and problem-solving skills are essential.

  • Innovation & Concept Development: Collaborate with creative and technical teams to ideate and prototype new digital experiences
  • Conceptualise, prototype and deliver creative applications of technologies in our digital and experiential projects.
  • You’ll help win new projects by developing creative treatments in response to client briefs and RFPs, developing creative solutions that are exciting and in keeping with the project’s goals, timings and budget.
  • You’ll visit clients to pitch for projects, participate in workshops, and woo people with your combination of creative thinking and technical know-how.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with designers, developers, and clients to translate creative ideas into functional, beautiful, and technically sound solutions.
  • Bridging the gap between our clients, our creatives and our developers by speaking the language of all 3
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the bridge between creative concepts and technical execution, providing insights on the feasibility and best technological approaches.
  • Problem Solving: Approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, finding creative ways to overcome technical and creative hurdles.
  • The role involves a lot of tinkering, tweaking and testing; doing original R&D and playing around with new technologies and APIs, and creating original prototypes that work as a proof of concept.
  • By figuring out the required technology and technical requirements, you usher creative projects to the development stage, liaising between creative and technical teams to make sure new projects work as advertised.
  • Thought leader: Lead creative on artificial intelligence in film, photo, animation, post production and other studio related projects
  • On another level, you help to think and plan for the future, feeling the pulse of the AI field to figure out what platforms and technologies we should invest in to stay on top of the game

  • 3D experience, handling 3D modeling and integrating AI-driven imagery with 3D assets, textures, and product prototypes.

Required Skills

  • Creative solutions are what you live and breathe, transitioning ideas to transformation by tech is what you love.
  • Experience with node-based programming
  • Especially ComfyUI. Familiarity with creating custom nodes and understanding the pipeline for integrating AI-driven solutions would be crucial.
  • Understanding of CGI pipelines a plus
  • TensorFlow, PyTorch would be plus but not necessary:
  • Stable Diffusion & ControlNet
  • Proficiency in working with AI-generated imagery, including customizing models using control signals.
  • You have over a decade of experience in roles that bridge creative and technology in the field of interactive/experiential/digital agencies or production companies.
  • A skilled, creative, confident presenter and negotiator
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multitasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills
  • Able to apply critical and strategic thinking
  • Stress-tolerant, quick-thinking and accurate
  • Able to quickly understand new technology concepts
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills as a team leader and team player
  • Flexibility, initiative, dedication and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • A sense of humour, outgoing, articulate, well-informed, intelligent, confident and possessing common sense
  • Fluent in spreadsheets (Google Sheets preferred)
  • Strong abilities in Google Workspace (Google Slide preferred)
