Expected pay for this position is $41.13 - $53.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma/ GED,
- Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
- Must be ARRT eligible
Licensure/ Certification:
- BLS American Heart Association;
- ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- 2 years radiography experience.
- 1 year MRI experience.
Licensure/ Certification:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)) registered.
