Shift: Day Shift

Hours

• Part-Time (.5) FTE
• Days: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Location: Loyola Medical Center, Maywood, IL
• Brand new clinical laboratory with daylight access and open concept space

About The Role

The Medical Lab Scientist supports patient care by performing laboratory testing (waived, moderate, high complexity) in accordance with SOPs and accreditation guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Perform all laboratory testing supporting patient care
• Conduct quality control procedures, evaluate results, and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy

Required

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related fields

Certifications

• Preferred: Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) or equivalent
