Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI seeks an MRI Technologist to interpret orders and perform diagnostic radiography and MRI scans, preparing equipment and positioning patients, and documenting procedures. The role supports department operations and accreditation efforts with the medical imaging team.
The candidate must have ARRT MR Technologist certification (RTMR), active state licensure, and at least six months of supervised MRI experience, with credentialing of at least one year.
The MRI Technologist interprets physician’s orders and performs diagnostic radiography and MRI Scans, demonstrating expertise in use of equipment. Prepares equipment, correctly positions patients, and applies proper techniques for procedures. Prepares required reports and documentation, maintains work area, and assists in other support activities for department, such as transporting patients. Works with department administration to get MRI services accredited with the American College of Radiology (ACR) and State License as required.
