Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking an MRI Technologist to join Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN. This patient-centered role performs MRI exams, prepares patients, administers contrast, and can start IV lines, while mentoring students and promoting MRI safety.

The position is a non-union 0.9 FTE evening shift at Regions Hospital, offering comprehensive benefits and emphasis on safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• One year of Radiologic Technologist clinical experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered as an MRI Technologist with the ARRT.
• BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative.
• Prepare patients for MRI exams and administer contrast media.
• Capable of starting an intravenous catheter as needed.
• Serve as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and advocate MRI safety.

Job description

Work with a great team and cutting-edge scanning technology as a patient-centered MRI Technologist in a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position joins an expanding team and performs MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for MRI exams, administers contrast media, and is capable of starting an intravenous catheter. This position also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and is an advocate for MRI safety.

This job provides:

• Environmental balance - 1.5-2 techs per scanner.
• Focus around MRI safety.
• Creative work schedule and more time outside of work.
• Lots of variety - rotation through both clinics and Regions Hospital.
• Holiday rotation.

Work Schedule:

Overnight Shift 1745-0615 Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat and Thur Fri

Required Qualifications:

• One year of Radiologic Technologist clinical experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered as an MRI Technologist with the ARRT.
• BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.

Additional Information:

This is a non-union 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) evening shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $41.51-$57.82 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differentials. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
