Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join the Imaging MRI team at Regions Hospital. You will perform MRI exams with independent judgment, prepare patients, administer contrast, and start IVs when needed, while upholding MRI safety standards.

The role supports student interns and prioritizes patient-centered care in a dynamic Level 1 Trauma Center environment. Evening shifts with schedule variety and holiday rotation are included.

Qualifications

• One year of Radiologic Technologist clinical experience.
• ARRT registration as Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT MRI certification.
• BLS certification from an approved program.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams with independent judgment and initiative.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams and administer contrast media.
• Initiate intravenous catheter as needed and ensure MRI safety.
• Serve as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns.

Job Description

Work with a great team and cutting-edge scanning technology as a patient-centered MRI Technologist in a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position joins an expanding team and performs MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for MRI exams, administers contrast media, and is capable of starting an intravenous catheter.This position also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and is an advocate for MRI safety.

This job provides:

Work Schedule:

Evening shift, with one weekend shift/month, approximately one day of call/month, and holiday rotation.

Required Qualifications:

• One year of Radiologic Technologist clinical experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered as an MRI Technologist with the ARRT.
• BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.
