Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a qualified Radiologic Technologist specialized in MRI to join our imaging team. You will operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic images with high quality in a fast-paced hospital setting.

REQUIRED: graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program; ARRT RT or MR certs or ARMRIT MR; BLS from the American Heart Association. PREFERRED: 1 year MRI experience and additional Life Support credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or accredited MRI program.
• ARRT certification as RT or MR, or ARMRIT MR certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year MRI experience is preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials or specialty certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment and produces tomographic images.
• Ensures high image quality and patient safety during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.

Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or

Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or

ARMRIT (MR)

Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

One (1) year of experience in MRI.

Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

Sat 7:30a-4p; Mon and Tues 7:30a-8p
